London 2012  London 2012
  10 top travel tips

1) Travelling to the Olympics will be easy.
There will be lots of options.

2) Games tickets come with a free one-day travelcard.
The travelcard lets you travel free for one day.

3) One-day travelcards do not come with a free Games ticket.
Because that would be silly.

4) Train tickets can be booked a year early.
Normally it's only three months early, but the Olympics are special.

5) Wheelchairs are welcome.
A special tube map will show you where you can't go.

6) Coaches will run to the Games.
They will run from all over the country and be quite slow.

7) Bikes are welcome.
But don't try cycling from Liverpool unless you are fit.

8) There will be park-and-ride.
Cars are not banned, so drivers can still buy tickets.

9) Some venues are a long way apart.
Don't book tickets in two places on the same day.

10) Travelling to the Olympics will be hard.
The tubes will be rammed and the roads will be jammed. Stay away.
